What’s included in the price?

Your MadMax session and price will include:

  • Helmets and safety gear as required
  • Wet proof jackets and trousers
  • All the kit you need to take part
  • Expert instruction and supervision
  • Scores and results
  • Public Liability Insurance

How young can I be?

  • 4×4 Off Road Driving: you need to be at least 17 yearrs+, full drivers licence is necessary
  • Quad biking: you need to be at least 16 years old
  • Archery: you need to be at least 12 years old
  • Clays: you need to be at least 14 years old
  • Children of 12yrs – 15yrs can take part in other activities with parental consent, a form can be provided in advance or on the day for completion

How do I find you?

With your confirmation, we will send you directions including a post code for SatNav. Signs will lead you in over the last mile.

We will then confirm the price and availability over the phone and take payment with credit card or debit card. We then email you your confirmation.

What do I need to wear?

Dress for the Scottish weather and presume the worst and hope for the best! Stout outdoor shoes or trainers are best. If you are taking part in quad biking, we will provide wet proof jackets and trousers and jackets to keep your own clothes clean.

Are you insured?

Yes, we carry £5m of public liability.

Is it safe?

For any adventurous outdoor activity there is an element of risk but we do all we can to minimise this. Using well maintained equipment with qualified instruction and supervision together with risk assessments and safety procedures all contribute to a safe experience. But we also rely on you, the participant, to do as instructed and behave sensibly!

Are the instructors qualified?

Yes! All instructors will be trained, qualified and experienced in their respective activities using nationally recognised qualifications.

Is there First Aid cover?

Yes! At least one instructor will be St Andrews HSE First Aid qualified with a full first aid kit at the Hub.

Can I get lunch?

Lunch for groups of ten or more can be organised. We have two lunch options; Soup and sandwich combo for £5.95, and a BBQ lunch option is priced as £13.95 – click here for menu.

Smaller groups can be catered with a small supplementary charge. Lunch should be pre ordered at least 48 hours in advance and you need to let us know of any special dietary requirements at the time of ordering.

Do you serve snacks?

Yes! We have a selection of hot and cold drinks and cold snacks on sale.

Is it competitive?

For group bookings, we will run the activities competitively and can provide winners medals for best performances.

Do you sell gift vouchers?

Gift vouchers are available for sale and redemption throughout the year. Terms and conditions apply. Call 0131 333 0066 to purchase a gift voucher.

What are your opening times?

We are open on Saturday between 10am -5pm, unless your group is larger than 12 people.

Is there a discount for group bookings?

Groups of ten or more for single activity bookings will benefit from a 10% discount. Groups of 20 or more for multi activity sessions will also benefit from a 10% discount.

What are your payment terms?

There is a £20pp no refundable deposit due in order to confirm your booking. The balance is then payable at least 14 days prior to your event. Refunds are not available for changes to your booking within 14 days of your chosen date.
